Cadillac XTS Sales Rise 22 Percent To 1,948 Units In September 2016

Cadillac XTS deliveries in the United States totaled 1,948 units in September 2016, an increase of 22 percent compared to the 1,600 units sold in September 2015. In the first nine months of 2016, sales of the XTS are down 7 percent to 14,925 units.

In Canada, the XTS recorded 172 deliveries in September 2016, up 40 percent compared to September 2015. In the first nine months of the year, sales of the luxury sedan totaled 453 units in Canada, down 20 percent compared to the first nine months of 2015.

    it’s quite sad that the XTS is outselling the CT6.

        We can’t look at aggregate sales volume between the two models and reach any logical conclusions.

        First, the CT6 has significantly higher transaction prices compared to the XTS. Second, the CT6 isn’t sold to fleets as often as the XTS is. Third, how often does the S-Class outsell such vehicles as the XTS? Food for thought and logical reasoning.

      Way too early for that statement. Dealers didn’t start taking deliver until mid to late March. It takes a while for an entirely new model to take off plus the CT6 is higher up the food chain and isn’t meant to be the bread and butter car. That’s the ATS and CTS

    I had an XTS loaner while my ATS was being serviced. It’s a nice ride but too big and heavy for me. I appreciated my ATS even more when I got it back!
