Buick Talks Up Its Wider, Sleeker And Stylish 2017 LaCrosse: Video

In 2007, the Buick Enclave was tasked with ushering in a new era of Buick design and for the brand as a whole. The crossover was certainly successful in doing so, but it’s the 2017 Buick LaCrosse that will lead the design charge moving forward.
We say that because the 2017 LaCrosse has certainly had a sit down with the stunning Buick Avenir concept vehicle, where it borrowed the front fascia and iconic “sweep spear” line. Moving forward, this is the new look of Buick.
The brand has released a short promotion video to accentuate its design prowess with the 2017 LaCrosse, describing it as lower, wider and more elegant than ever. We say: don’t let videos and photos make up your mind. We truly think the LaCrosse is an excellent looking vehicle in the real world.
After watching the short video above, check out our first drive impressions here, and a total breakdown of the 2017 LaCrosse right here.

Please review the Buick LaCrosse Hybrid which uses the same Voltec EDU in the Chevy Malibu Hybrid.
Yep…looks quite nice.
still looks meh.
Appears to me that its an Impala with a Buick grille. Perhaps in person it will come across as different. At lease it will offer AWD which you can’t get on the Impala which I think is a big mistake on GM’s part.
This new one is not an “Impala with a Buick grille” – the 2nd gen LaCrosse was.
This 3rd gen is on a new platform and it has longer wheelbase than current Impala, despite being somewhat shorter overall (due to shorter and smaller trunk, pretty much). Also, new LaCrosse has everything new – new engine (LGX replaces LFX), new transmission, (8 speed replaces 6 speed) new improved suspension (five link replaces four link at the rear) and such.
Don’t get me wrong, I think this new one will be an appealing and capable car and a class leader. However, take a look at the photo-block the front fenders out with your hand and you will notice the swoop design characteristic of the 2014 and up Impala (a car I really like) from the mid of the rear pass door and back to the trunk-from the photos they’re practically identical. If you can’t notice the similarities then take another look.
still looks like a stubby old mans car but bold.
