With 407 horsepower to the rear wheels, this 2016 Chevrolet Silverado has more grunt than your stock Silverado thanks to the Street Stalker performance package from Late Model Racecraft. By contrast, the 6.2L EcoTec3 L86 in a factory-stock Silverado makes 420 horses at the crank. Assuming a 15 percent drivetrain loss, that translates to roughly 360 horses at the wheels.
As the alleged builders of the world’s most powerful C7 Corvette, LMR knows a thing or two about modifying GM V-8 Small Blocks, and we appreciate the company extending its automotive tuning skills to trucks, since this is a Silverado SS Chevy refuses to make. And we think it’s safe to assume that the mods seen on this Silverado could also be applied to a 2016 GMC Sierra.
While there isn’t much more info about the package from LMR, interested parties are encouraged to call the shop at 713-466-9900 or email [email protected] for more details. And if you’re a window shopper, you can go ahead and enjoy this video of the Street Stalker Silverado laying down the power.

Gm should build a single cab short bed 6.2 with 10speed, positrac rear with 411s this would be a killer truck! They could even offer it extended cab
I so agree! Ford did the Lightning and now it’s a coveted piece. How does an SS WT sound? All go, minimal show with perhaps a full hard bed cover with integral spoiler for down force. Keep it simple. Keep it as inexpensive as possible and go kick some @$$. Raptor beware, here comes T-Rex or perhaps Twister….
How nice a dream!!..a Silverado SS again….it’s a darn shame GM won’t listen and oblige.
