Real estate is limited on Consumer Reports‘ “Recommended” list. However, the 2016 C7 Corvette made the cut, along with two other Chevrolets.
The C7 Corvette was named to the list for its much-improved reliability, after gathering data from the latest Automotive Reliability Survey results. For what it’s worth, no other sports cars are listed by CR on the list, meaning the Corvette has carved some territory all its own.
The 2016 Corvette is joined by the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro as recommended, and the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, which ousted the 10th-generation Honda Civic for the compact car spot. The 2017 Cadillac XT5 also made the cut for the reliability list.

Congrats due to GM here. Keep up these improvements please!
CR in substance means little more than what Amazon reviews mean. But it is good PR and you take it any way you can.
The truth is last years car was no better or worse than this years car but yet they find it acceptable?
These reviews are like a popular vote car show. You take the trophy if you get one and if not you can’t take it personal.
Predicted reliability based upon last THREE years if design remains the same. With that being said by third year, as Corvette is, production bugs should hopefully be worked out.
