Opel is on a mission to iterate the 2017 Ampera-e is not a ho-hum driving machine for the frugal. Instead, it wants consumers to understand the vehicle is fun to drive.
And what better way to invoke “fun to drive” than with some flashy club imagery and dancing? Opel has released its introductory video to showcase the 2017 Ampera-e, highlighting its capabilities, such as a 500 km range, fun to drive characteristics and technology-packed interior cabin.
Americans will have priority over Europe when it comes to the vehicle, though. The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV will reach retail customers by the end of 2016, while the Opel Ampera-e will wait until 2017 for an official launch.
