David Spade may not come off as a car guy, but he is. Following the Joe Dirt film, Spade stated he began to fall in love with the hobby. That led to his purchase of a $900,000 Plymouth Road Runner.
But, this episode is not about the Road Runner, it’s about Spade’s 1987 Buick Grand National. Jay Leno’s Garage took the iron fist in a velvet glove for a quick spin with Spade in the passenger seat, telling us about the history and how he came to purchase niche vehicle so many have come to fall in love with.
It also features Leno doing his best impression of the Grand National’s turbo wastegate noise, so that’s always fun. Have a look at the snippet right up above.
