How To Keep Up With This Weekend’s Bojangles’ Southern 500 From Darlington

This weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Darlington Raceway for one of the most highly anticipated race weekends on the NASCAR calendar, the the Bojangles’ Southern 500.
Darlington has become synonymous with throwback paint schemes for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and this year is no exception. Several Chevy drivers will have vintage-look schemes including Kevin Harvick, Jamie McMurray, Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson. You can view them all on NASCAR.com.
Coverage for this weekend’s race will be handled by NBC, which will begin broadcasting just ahead of the green flag at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2nd. Live timing can also be accessed via the NASCAR app or NASCAR.com.
A slight scheduling change has also been applied for this weekend’s race. All Sprint Cup Series on-track activity for Friday has been postponed until Saturday due to rain. NASCAR is expecting the weather to hold out for the remainder of the weekend.
