GMC Yukon Sales Rise 32 Percent To 8,802 Units In August 2016

Cumulative deliveries of the GMC Yukon totaled 8,802 units in August 2016, an increase of 32 percent compared to the 6,668 units sold in August 2015. Those 8,802 units are made up of:

• 5,327 deliveries of the “regular” Yukon, an increase of 18.5 percent compared to the 4,493 units sold in August 2015, and
• 3,478 deliveries of the extended-length Yukon XL, an increase of nearly 60 percent compared to the 2,175 units sold in August 2015

In the first eight months of 2016, cumulative Yukon sales have increased 15.2 percent to 50,642 units, comprised of:

• 30,029 deliveries of the “regular” Yukon, an increase of 15.28 percent, and
• 20,613 deliveries of the Yukon XL, an increase of 15.08 percent

In Canada, the Yukon recorded 306 cumulative deliveries in August 2016, an increase of 33.62 percent compared to August 2015. The 306 units are comprised of:

• 183 units of the “regular” Yukon, an increase of 64.86 percent compared to 111 units sold in August 2015, and
• 123 units of the Yukon XL, an increase of 4.24 percent compared to the 118 units sold in August 2015

In the first eight months of the year, cumulative sales of the Yukon totaled 2,867 units in Canada, an increase of 48.7 percent compared to the first eight months of 2015. These 2,867 deliveries are comprised of:

• 1,522 units of the Yukon, up 44.13 percent over the 1,056 units sold in August 2015, and
• 1,345 units of the Yukon XL, up 54.24 percent over the 1,345 units sold in August 2015
