Flyin’ Miata has posted a video to its Facebook page that shows footage of the MX-5 ND Miata LS3 swap in action, and holy crap does it look like fun. This little rocket flies past the camera from a dig, and has enough torque to chirp the tires going into fourth gear. Sounds squirrelly. If you haven’t already heard, those who purchase the swap will have the option between 430 hp or 525 hp.
We’ve been keeping an eye on this build, and much like everyone else we’re quite anxious to see how the LS3-powered Miata stacks up against the competition.
If you’re desperate to get your hands on such a vehicle, Flyin’ Miata is currently taking orders, with the first cars expected to be delivered in early 2017. If you prefer the Fiat 124 Spider over the Mazda Miata, the company is offering the LS3 swap for that model, too.
