Chevrolet wants more of its Canadian customers to be connected as it rolls out new pricing and plans for OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi in the country.
Previously, Chevrolet offered a 1 GB, 10 GB and 10 GB for 12 months at $25, $109 and $200 respectively. Now, the brand has made it much more affordable to access data in the car.
The new plans are now come in at 1 GB, 4 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB, with the 4 GB plan being a new, sweet-spot addition to the lineup. The prices have been reduced, too. The 1 GB, 4GB, 10 GB and 20 GB plans now cost $15, $35, $70 and $200 per month.
Chevrolet made a similar move in the United States this past summer when it slashed pricing for American consumers. Now, Canadians have up to two times more data for lower prices.
“Canadians continue to embrace this technology,” said Rosy Alaimo, National Manager for OnStar in Canada. “We expect even more customers to use OnStar 4G LTE with these new pricing plans.”
