Borla Releases Exhaust Systems For Sixth-Generation Chevrolet Camaro 2.0L Turbo: Video

Borla has released its Touring, S-Type, and ATAK exhaust systems for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L LTG four-cylinder. Of course this isn’t Borla’s first rodeo when it comes to GM-built 2.0L turbos, the company is a popular choice in the late Cobalt SS community, as well.
The Touring exhaust is just a tiny bit more audible than stock. The exhaust note really starts to come alive with the S-Type exhaust. Actually, it looks like a caterpillar or small bug of sorts is a fan of the S-Type exhaust note. Take a look at the driver’s side rear wheel at 1:45 and you’ll see it slow its roll to take a listen.
The ATAK system is the loudest by far, but it’s not as ‘farty’ as you’d expect. Of course, the Camaro shown in the video still has a catted downpipe. We’re curious to hear what the ATAK and S-Type systems would sound like with a cat-less exhaust system.
We imagine that what you hear is similar if not exactly the same as the note of a Cadillac ATS 2.0L with a Borla exhaust. Have a listen for yourself, then let us know what you think.
