Following the announcement of an official price tag of $37,495 for the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV in the United States, our friends to the north have an official number, too.
In Canada, the 2017 Bolt EV will start at $42,795 (plus a $1,600 destination charge) before any provincial incentives for purchasing an electric vehicle. However, for example, Ontario locals can take advantage of $11,361 in incentives, bringing the price down to $31,434. This figure does not include the $1,600 destination charge, though.
Incentives vary per province in Canada, and will fluctuate the price of just how much a 2017 Bolt EV will cost in the Great White North.
An interesting bit included in the announcement is the fact DC fast charging capability will be standard equipment on Canadian models. In the U.S., DC fast charging will be optional.
The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV will reach Canadian dealerships in early 2017.

And Saskatchewan will see pricing at full MSRP because Sask has no green incentives from the government. At that price, no thanks. I can buy a Volt for the same money (not fully loaded) but not be restricted in my driving range.
