2017 C7 Corvette Stingray And Z06 Arrive With Optional Body-Color Exterior Vents

There aren’t any substantial changes coming to the 2017 model year of the C7 Corvette Stingray and Z06, but we’ve snapped photos of a new exterior option for those looking to mix it up a bit.
These photos showcase the body-color exterior vents and trimmings, matched in the exterior hue for both the C7 Corvette Stingray and C7 Corvette Z06. The hood, side vents and rear taillight housings all benefit from the LPO with RPO code EFY for “vents, exterior, body-color painted.”
The option appears to not be available for C7 Corvettes finished in black, however.
It’s a very different look, providing zero contrast where the vents normally break up the styling a tad. If anything, we’d say it doesn’t do much for the rear, but gives the front end a cleaner look in certain cases. Have a look at the photos in the gallery below.

OK.. that to me looks dull. Part of the attraction of the C7, when I bought, was the contrasting accents of carbon flash on blade silver. But to each his own.. there is a car for everyone and the coolest part about this is that it is an OPTION and not the standard
The body colored vents is not new. It was available for 2016 and I think 2015 as well.

Body colored vents were offered starting in model year 2015.
They look great! Just look at how the body vents look on a Black Z06.
