We’ll preface this video by saying you probably shouldn’t use this method on the road when searching for something you may have dropped while driving. But that should be very obvious.
This 30-second Cadillac commercial, titled “Lost & Found,” depicts a couple traveling in downtown New York in a white 2016 ATS Sedan equipped with the turbocharged 2.0 four-cylinder LTG engine and standard Brembo brakes. At first it seems that the lady friend is testing out the stop-and-go capabilities of the ATS in the middle of the cobblestone street. We eventually see that she was using these forces in order to free her lost diamond earring. How clever.
Note that the YouTube video itself replays the commercial, so don’t expect to see anything different if you watch the video all the way through.
Comments
Nothing on who the ATS is taking aim at, let alone better than. No performance shots, or a good look at the interior quality. No words of acclaim from auto publications.
I firmly stand on my belief that marketing, not styling, is at least 60 percent of why Cadillac isn’t reaching their potential despite building their best cars ever. Less interior room than expected of a Cadillac, price, and the infotainment system make up the rest.
