1963 C2 Corvette Stolen From Storage Facility In Montana

It’s a rudimentary concept, instilled in us from the time we’re capable of picking up skill sets: don’t take what’s not yours. Yet, here we are, penning another story about a classic Corvette stolen.

The vehicle is a 1963 C2 Corvette, which was stolen from its storage unit in Montana, according to local news affiliate KTVH. The Nelson family was shocked when they realized the 1963 Corvette had been taken and have a feeling it’s not a random theft.

“The Corvette was inside the trailer parked right behind me in this outdoor storage facility,” Mrs. Nelson said. “It may not be just an entirely random act to steal this trailer. It’s probably somebody who’s familiar with that area.”

Investigators and local police are hoping security footage caught a glimpse of the thief or vehicle leaving the premises.

In the meantime, the Nelsons reiterated what we stated above.

“I guess I would just want them to know that it’s a hard thing to have someone take something from you.”
