Corvette Racing scored its 102nd victory Sunday after Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia piloted their Corvette C7.R from pole to win the 2016 Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway.
The second Corvette Racing entry, the No. 4 C7.R of Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin, wasn’t quite as lucky at the tight and technical Virginia circuit. Gavin lost the rear of the car on the second to last lap, sliding into the tires backward and badly damaging the rear. The No. 4 was classified last in GTLM and 18th overall.
If you missed the race, don’t fret. As always, IMSA has uploaded the event in its entirety to YouTube, allowing the busy race fan to keep up with the competitive touring car series even if they don’t have time to sit down for three hours every Sunday.
Check it out above so you can stay up to date with all the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Challenge happenings before the series head to Circuit of the Americas for Lonestar Le Mans later this month.

#912 car, at the end, again?
Wonder why Fordauthority has no mention of this race? GMauthority posts all Corvette racing results, not just the wins.
Everyone over their has “taken the blue pill”, they’ve chosen to “wake up and believe what ever they want to believe!”
No “rabbit hole”!
Well this is not over till it is over. I hope for no more Bop changes and a little luck in these races. GM is owed after the last two years and then the BoP changes at Le Mans.
I hope they can hang on and not suffer any bad luck.
Even though they do not necessarily have the best car for the rules anymore they do have the best team to take the championship.
Go Jake!!! And we will be pulling for you Doug and the rest of the guys.
