Teen Driver Technology Helps Keep The Kiddos In Check: Video

Ah, the days after you first gained your license. Freedom, the open road and no one but yourself to be responsible for. It seemed like all fun and games, but the responsibility was immense. Even after driver’s education, young motorists still have much to learn.

Chevrolet wants to add another layer of safety for young drivers and has highlighted what makes its Teen Driver Technology substantial in this regard. MaryAnn Beebe, a GM safety engineer, talks about what the system means to her personally and how it can help curb bad habits behind the wheel.

The system will log how the new driver behaves behind the wheel, creating a report card for parents to view upon their return back home. Speed limits can be set, and audio will be muted until all seatbelts are fastened properly.

Have a look at how Teen Driver Technology can help provide peace of mind in the video up above.
