Brexit may still be unfolding, but the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be executing a “Brenter” (we can make up media buzz words, too, okay?) very soon.
However, not may Camaros will be finding their way across the pond to the United Kingdom. EVO reports just 15 2016 Chevrolet Camaro coupes will be offered. That’s it. No more, no less.
Chevrolet cites extremely low demand forecasts due to its configuration; unlike the European-spec Ford Mustang, the sixth-generation Camaro will not be offered in right-hand drive. At least for now.
The coupes will arrive with either the 2.0-liter turbocharged LTG four-banger, or the beastly 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine. The V6 won’t be part of the Camaro corral.
If you have your heart set on a convertible in the UK, you’ll have to wait an extra month. And likely wait in line. Chevrolet will send just three Camaro convertibles for British consumption.

I have used “Brenter” when corresponding to friends in Europe for quite some time now. Welcome aboard.
I am sure that things will change once imported Camaros enter Australia. A huge opportunity in the UK. There is a long waiting list for the Mustang in both of those Countries (and India as well).
The author of this article, Sean Szymkowski, probably never spoke to Chevrolet C6 Camaro’s Chief Engineer (Al Oppenheiser) or Mr Szymkowski would have known that right hand steering cars need to be planned from the start of the program as it’s not something that can be engineered after the car goes into production which means Britain will not likely see a right-hand steering Chevrolet Camaro.
Makes you wonder why England bothered doing that five-episode series, featuring the Camaro driver who gets a gentlemen’s haircut and beard trim, and a bespoke suit …
Doesn’t seem like 15 Camaros will pay for that production.
