In three days, it seems we may know what the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will cost, and how much power it will produce when it begins production later this year.
Camaro6 reports the official pricing and performance statistics will be available on August 8 with no named source. However, it does seem legitimate following the leak of a 2017 Camaro ZL1 order guide. The guide stated the Camaro ZL1 will arrive with 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, matching its C7 Corvette Z06 brethren, but outperforming the Cadillac CTS-V.
Following the ZL1’s debut at the 2o16 New York Auto Show, the Camaro team took the summer to continue engineering the latest go-fast addition to the Camaro lineup. Since then, mum has been the word on official performance and pricing. But, that may change in a few short days. Maybe we’ll even get an official Nürburgring lap time. Stay tuned.
