Land Rover is arguably a status symbol by today’s standards, but what happens when a regular Land Rover isn’t enough? Enter the East Coast Defender “Beast.”
Yep, it’s called the Beast, and it’s fit for an action film villain. How is it even more of a status symbol? Only five will be made with power coming from a 6.2-liter LS3 V8.
Bold Ride reports the Defender has been given a complete once over by ECD, and features a 2-inch Terrafirma lift kit, Wild Bear heavy duty bumper with a Smitty build winch, and Nitto Grappler A/T tires. Loud noises come courtesy of a hand-built Magnaflow exhaust, too.
Inside, it’s hand-stitched, quilted everything. A Momo steering wheel is present, as well as a Pioneer infotainment unit and premium JBL sound system.
So, what will it set you back? A cool $225,0000. And ECD will close applications for the magnificent beast by September 9.
