Capristo designs, engineers and builds exhaust systems for top end exotic vehicles such as the Aston Martin Vantage and beloved Ferrari F12. At the same time, Capristo has also created an exhaust system for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Z06, and the result is a sound we won’t soon forget.
It’s true, you can do just about anything to the three cars mentioned above and they’ll all still sound great. The difference is, this Capristo exhaust sounds better than great — it’s phenomenal, it’s enticing… it’s exotic. We’re not knocking more affordable brands like Vibrant or Corsa, but after hearing this C7 Z06 I’m starting to understand that the price gap reflects more than “just branding” (and if one is to spend five grand on an exhaust system such as this one, that should be expected).
The second C7 Z06 you’ll see sports a rather interesting finish with a garish vinyl wrap. We also don’t know if it’s got a CEL (check engine light) because of the exhaust system, or some other issue. Feel free to speculate.
