How bad is the start-stop? Particularly rough starting and stopping. I have been looking forward to purchasing this car. However, this could be a deal breaker for me particularly if there is no way to disable it.
Some have criticized GM’s 3.6L V6 as being not responsive enough, do you think GM’s 255-275 horsepower LTG 2.0L DOHC-4v 4-cyl turbo engine would be a good fit in the LaCrosse as it should get similar performance numbers while better fuel mileage.
How’s the upgraded Intellilink system. How’s the Bose(?) audio? Is it anything to write home about?
this is a vary good looking sedan no doubt
I know, this is not a primary question for Buick, but how about 0-60 in comparison with 2nd gen with previous 3.6 L V6 LFX engine? Is the new one any faster, as one may expect due to reduced mass, new engine and new 8-speed transmission?
And, by the way, what’s the model of new 8-speed transmission in the 3rd gen? Is it from Aisin?
Hi, Would you please request the Passenger Volume (ft3) of the 2017 Buick LaCrosse?
Thanks, Fran
Do you think it accomplished Buicks goal of being the class leader?
Hi, this “new” car is a Chinese Limousine intended primarily for the Chinese market and concurrently sold in the US. (at the ratio of 8 Chinese to 1 US.) It’s a beautiful but featureless design intended for a market and price point. Minor criticisms are irrelevant and it is what it is, satisfactory for a minor domestic market with similar needs. Where is the replacement for the Verano and the Regal? I’m trying to buy a Buick but I can’t seem to find that “Goldilocks” offering. SUV Envision is not the one. I may have to replace my Cadillac ATS with a new 2017 model if latest Insignia specs disappoint too.

When can we see a list of colors, I would like to see the different colors that are available.. What I don’t like is having to pay extra for all colors except black and white.. It would seem when you order a car that’s under/over $40K it should come with a color that doesn’t cost extra ??
Is there a way to display the date on the screen of my 2017 Buick LaCrosse?
Too difficult to operate that automatic transmission selector. A column mounted lever would have been much better. Even a standard transmission would be easier to operate. Guess I’ll have to look at Lincolin.
So the Lincoln push button selector is much easier than the one in Buick?
