ANCAP Leaks 2017 Holden Trailblazer Ahead Of Its Official Debut

The Australasian New Car Assessment Program, or ANCAP, made a bit of a mistake as far as Holden is concerned. In its press release stating the 2017 Holden Trailblazer passed with flying colors to achieve a five-star safety rating, it also published the first official image of the SUV ahead of its reveal.

Motoring first reported the news showing the refreshed SUV, explaining the ANCAP was to simply release information on its safety scoring. Holden failed to tell ANCAP to not publish the attached image with the information.

The 2017 Holden Trailblazer ditches the “Colorado 7” nameplate in favor of the Trailblazer name long used in with its international Chevrolet Trailblazer cousin. According to the report, the 2017 Trailblazer is set to be revealed officially in just one week.

  1. No matter how safe it is, as long as it’s using that horrible VM Motori 2.8 diesel, it will forever be in the shadow of the D-Max.
