We’d been placing our best guesses as to where pricing would fall for the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Some of us even pushed the pricing into the $70,000 range. However, Chevrolet has undercut us by a surprising margin.
Ensuring the 2017 Camaro ZL1 is yet another performance bang-for-your-buck, Chevrolet revealed the starting price of $62,135 for the ZL1 coupe. ZL1 convertibles will start at $69,135.
The pricing makes for a less than $7,000 increase for oodles of more performance and technology, something quite commendable by Chevrolet and the Camaro team. The 2017 Camaro ZL1 arrives with a 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 engine with 650 hp, and 650 lb-ft of torque along with the first application of GM and Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2017 Camaro ZL1 is expected to go on sale in late fall.

When will 2017 ZL1 coup w/ auto transmission be available?
One can only wonder, will it have the same over heating problems that the corvette Z06 has had??? Same engine!
