Update: This report has been revised with new information from an additional source.
We’re elated to report there is a happy ending for the case of a stolen 1978 C3 Corvette. The Corvette was taken from its parking space in Ferndale, Michigan during the 2016 Woodward Dream Cruise and has reportedly been recovered.
Click On Detroit reports the vehicle was called in by a viewer with a matching description and license plate. The Corvette was found on the West side on Ward Avenue.
The owner, Kelly Robinson, has owned the C3 Corvette for 20 years and was devastated to find it missing upon her return from perusing the Dream Cruise.
Local news affiliate Fox 2 reports the 1978 Corvette was unfortunately stripped of its wheels and engine before it was called in by a good samaritan. Robinson stated she’s just glad the car has been found.
Good looking out, locals. Another Corvette has found its way back home.
