Vintage Ad Break: Chevrolet Has A Size For Everyone With Its 1976 Vehicle Lineup

Welcome to another rendition of Vintage Ad Break, where we search for classic advertisement from Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Cadillac and GMC.

This time, we’re looking at 1976, and Chevrolet is up to the bat. You know, back when the Monte Carlo was considered a “personal car,” small in size.

Chevrolet took to the airwaves in 1975, the same time “Love Will Keep Us Together” hit local radio, to show off its lineup of vehicles, touting a size for everyone and beckoning America to “Try One On.”

The Monte Carlo, as mentioned above, was the personal car, the Chevelle played the midsize roll, while the Caprice and Impala rounded out the largest of vehicles for the bowtie brand.

Have a look at the ad right up above.

  1. My mom owned the Malibu. Monte Carlo looks nearly same size.
