The Opel Calendar Is Returning, This Time Featuring Grumpy Cat

Have no fear, because the 2017 Opel calendar is nearly here. The brand announced work is underway to produce the 2017 iteration of the brand’s famed calendar.
This time, a theme of “Opel Wonderland of Dream” will take place, with photographer Ellen von Unwerth taking viewers on a journey through the seasons with the most stunning Opel models from yesterday, today and tomorrow.
And this time, there’s a very special guest: Grumpy Cat. Grumpy Cat, or Tardar Sauce, will be featured in the upcoming calendar alongside supermodel Georgia May Jagger – daughter of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and top model Jerry Hall.
“With Georgia May Jagger and ‘Grumpy Cat’, we have two zeitgeist icons headlining our ‘Opel Wonderland of Dreams’. And then with Ellen von Unwerth, we have an extraordinary artist behind the camera who presents these models and our Opel models in a very special way. Following ‘Corsa; Karl and Choupette’, we’re now taking photography of famous cats to the next level,” says Opel Chief Marketing Officer Tina Müller about the photo production at Studio Babelsberg.
Much like the previous calendar, there will be a vernissage for “Opel Wonderland of Dream”, and fans can look forward to Georgia May Jagger and Grumpy Cat attending.
