The Opel Adam cleaned up for another award in South Africa. The quirky compact car was named number one in customer satisfaction in the most recent J.D. Power study.
Through over 15,000 surveys on 24 manufacturers and 68 brands, the Opel Adam rose to the top, with owners conveying their love for the car. The Opel Insignia placed fourth in the midsize sedan segment, while the Opel Mokka placed third in the compact crossover segment as well.
“Our customers and the quality of our vehicles are our highest priority”, said Jürgen Keller, Opel’s Executive Director Sales, Marketing & Aftersales in Germany. “The excellent performance in this year’s J.D. Power Report not only fills us with pride, it also motivates us to aim for better and better results with each new model.”
Hand-in-hand with this recognition, the Opel Insignia was awarded a first place prize for its value per money. Specifically, the 1.6-liter CDTi engine helped wow Auto Test judges over its frugal nature and performance.
