We’ve said, other publications have said and Corvette Racing’s Oliver Gavin has now said it: the 2017 C7 Corvette Grand Sport is the “just right” Corvette.
Taking what makes the C7 Corvette Z06 at utter beast at the track, but borrowing the more livable, yet still potent, 6.2-liter LT1 naturally-aspirated V8 engine from the C7 Stingray has done wonderful things for this Grand Sport.
Gavin describes the Grand Sport not only as a sweet spot but as insanely customizable. From the exterior color choices (complete with contrasting hash marks) to the interior and more, the Grand Sport is the people’s Corvette through and through.
