Lingenfelter Performance Engineering has been invited to bring a little ruckus to the 38th annual Concours D’Elegance in Plymouth, Michigan.
Ken Lingenfelter himself, also a board member of Concours D’Elegance America, has been invited to show his personal 2007 Bugatti Veyron and 1996 Vector M12. But, Lingenfelter will also arrive with its 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, which has been supercharged to produce 630 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Keeping the Camaro company will be Lingenfelter’s C7 Corvette Z06, producing 720 hp after LPE’s stage one package.
The one-of-a-kind, signature edition C7 Corvette Z06 will also be in attendance. The signature edition will be given away through the Corvette Dream Giveaway later this year, with all proceeds going to charity. You can find more info on that vehicle here.
Finally, wrapping up Lingenfelter’s display will be its incredible, reproduction 1963 Corvette Grand Sport, featuring an LS7 V8 to produce a stout 592 hp.
The 2016 Concours D’Elegance begins July 31 at The Inn at St. Johns.
Comment
Lingenfelter should concentrate on bringing a 800 horsepower supercharged Cadillac CTS to production especially as Cadillac is capping production of their CTS-V at just 2,000 units which means there should be a market for such a car while the same cannot be said for an enhanced Camaro or Corvette.
