The previous-generation Chevrolet Malibu was not very good. Adequate, but its bankruptcy bones were evident. That changed with the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, but in the Middle East, our old Malibu soldiers on.
In fact, it has found some love in a recent J.D. Power Dependability study. The Chevy Malibu led the midsize segment for the second year in a row for dependability.
“We are proud that, for the second year running, the Malibu has led its segment in this study,” said Abdallah Madhoun, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Chevrolet, GM Middle East. “The midsize car category is particularly competitive. The fact that the Malibu topped the ranking is a testament to our customers’ satisfaction and Chevrolet’s ability to meet their dependability needs. Most importantly, this award demonstrates how Chevrolet is a brand that customers across the Middle East can truly rely on.”
The Chevrolet brand outpaced the industry average in the Middle East, too, ranking sixth overall.
