The 2016 Cadillac CT6 arrived to the market with one of the most advanced night vision system seen today, and Autoliv helped underscore the system during Cadillac’s “Truth and Dare” driving experience.
In total, the experience highlighted the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and its driving dynamics, cutting edge technology and luxurious features. Autoliv night vision is one of those cutting edge features.
Night vision uses an infrared camera mounted in the front grille of the vehicle to sense temperature differences, making objects on the road visible to the driver even through darkness, fog and smoke.
Autoliv has developed custom algorithms to detect animals and pedestrians in the path of the vehicle, and enables alerts to the driver through icons in the instrument cluster and head-up display. Should the system sense danger, or at worse a collision, a rapid beep or pulse of the safety alert seat is engaged.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Cadillac’s Truth + Dare event,” said Stuart Klapper, Autoliv Night Vision Managing Director. “This is a great opportunity for Autoliv to exhibit our Night Vision Active Safety technology to Cadillac’s guests, and are honored that Cadillac has selected Night Vision to be presented amongst other cutting-edge technologies at this event.”

If anyone who is truly interested in going to the event, register on the website: http://www.cadillactruthanddare.com to register. Only need to warn you the area of availability is limited, for example, if you live in that particular State, it is not available and require plenty of planning time to get to that location.
I’m contemplating on going to Chicago, IL in Sept., but have not made my mind yet. It is 7 hours away from Nashville, TN. Bummer!
The automotive industry has been improving at a significant level and Ford is going one step ahead of others! I like their style and their facilities with all the latest technology. I also like this community for having a wonderful online browsing experience. Thanks for sharing this post with us.
