Chevrolet is busy firing off its latest products for Brazil. First came the 2017 Chevrolet Onix, followed by the 2017 Chevrolet Prisma sedan. Now, we have the 2017 Chevrolet Onix Activ.
The Onix Activ clearly takes a badge from the Chevrolet Beat Activ concept, which was shown for the Indian market. That model featured soft-road cues like more aggressive tires and a higher ground clearance. A similar formula has been applied here.
The 2017 Onix Activ features a unique suspension and also gains a slightly higher ground clearance; the Onix Activ is 1.18-inches higher than its more pedestrian counterpart. To look the part, cladding has been added to the side skirts, and front and rear fascias to provide protection against the lesser-taken path.
The Onix Activ will arrive only with the latest 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine, and may be paired to either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. Look for the Onix Activ to arrive alongside the regular Onix at the end of this month.

If reliable these would fly out of American dealerships… leaving the Spark and Sonic in the dust.
I agree but can it pass crash and emissions tests here in the USA.
Well, of course, I’m referring to an Americanized version.
