2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Spotted Testing In Colorado: Video

It seems the Camaro team has wrapped up most of its testing in Germany at the Nürburgring, because the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has returned to its home turf in the United States.

The Fast Lane Car captured video of the two 2017 Camaro ZL1 prototypes absolutely ripping it around Colorado’s mountain roads before converging on a secluded location.

There’s no camouflage, but there shouldn’t be. The world knows the 2017 Camaro ZL1 will arrive with the Corvette Z06’s 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 engine, and the first application of General Motors and Ford’s ten-speed automatic gearbox.

The Camaro team was said to have been taking the summer to continue honing the ZL1 and perfecting the latest performance piece it concocted, despite debuting at the 2016 New York International Auto Show. It’s evident there is still testing to be done, but we’re fast approaching the latest in fast Camaros.

The last Gen was nice too but this one with increased power, reduced weight and other improvements is all adding up to be just an incredible performance machine. Can hardly wait to see it up close!
