Please iwant to know if the escalade 2017 rear entertainment 7″ screens have been changed to be looks like ct6 screens ?
and what about Android auto ?
Android Auto is already part of CUE.
Not sure about the rear seat entertainment system… but the change list doesn’t mention a change to the actual screens, only to the inputs:
Improvements to the Rear Seat Entertainment system:
-HDMI/HML input
-2nd USB port with 2.1 amp charging
-Digital headphones and Wi-Fi capability via Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)
Improvements and changes to the Rear Seat Entertainment system on the Platinum trim level include:

I wish Cadillac kept the Gray Silk Metallic paint. It was a gorgeous color on this vehicle.
Anyway, a great vehicle going to be greater for ’17 for sure. No competitor, can’t touch the Escalade on elegance and volume of sales alone.
A good move for the Escalade . Give it the best tech that GM has and move it a notch up in the segment .
This is going to be where the fight for dominance in the ultra-luxury SUV’s will play out .
It also creates room for the new 7-8 passenger SUV / CUV .
I really believe that the upcoming Cadillac crossovers will make their own “room”, regardless of the Escalade’s positioning. Much like Mercedes-Benz has five crossovers, going on six, while the legendary G-Wagen occupies its own space.
Does anyone know when the 2017 pricing will be released and when production will start?
Pricing will be released as soon as production starts — which will be in the August-September time frame. Dealers can probably take orders at this time, though.
Any Idea when they will be available to drive off the lot? Do you think enough has changed to wait for the 2017?
I ordered mine last week. I should take delivery around the end of october.
Escalade is a great Car Majestic Plum Metallic was the best selling color in the Middle East after Black Raven, i dont know why GM deleted this from the production. Also another best color they deleted was White Diamond which was in high demand on all the range of Cadillac vehicles, the replacement color Crystal white is not liked by the customers and is in very low demand.
Are the buffeting / vibration problems resolved ?
I have a 2015 ESV and it has been a nightmare…in and out of the shop. First Cadillac and probably my last.
That’s a shame. I’ve owned a 2004 for over 10 years now and it has been a dream truck. I’m finally retiring her for a 2017 Escalade. Most Cadillac owners never go back to anything else.
Do we know when the 2017’s are coming out? Thanks.
Looks like they focused mainly on improving the entertainment factor for passengers, and for some drivers who like to sit in park and watch videos.
Is that considered ‘innovation’ at 100k each?
What about the mirror blind spot and other issues?
Fantastic achievements.
Who wants my brand new 2016 Escalade ESV Premium, diamond white, kona brown leather, power assist steps? I want a 2017 model now.
Hey John,
Thats the exact model I want. how much you want for it?
