Holden has issued a recall for the 2016 Colorado 7, also known as the global Chevrolet Trailblazer, regarding the SUV’s second row of seats.
According to the brand, “A condition has been identified whereby the recliner mechanisms fitted to the second row (60 per cent side – left and center seating positions) may not lock correctly when the seat back is placed into the upright position”.
Should the seats not lock properly, they could move about and unintentionally cause an accident. Holden states affected Colorado 7s were manufactured between October 10, 2015 and June 1, 2016. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by Holden shortly. And, of course, repairs will be conducted free of charge.
