If you’ve already watched episode 1 and episode 2 of the Chevrolet #SmallTalk With Al Madrigal series, you probably know what to expect in episode 3; subliminal messages, awkward conversation, and a sprinkle of comedy (it’s the funniest one yet, if that means anything to you).
At the start of the clip, Al pulls up to a man doing yard work, and steps out of the orange Chevrolet Trax to exchange a few words – don’t worry, we won’t spoil it for you. After that bit, Al picks up a “live audience” and meets up with his friend/fellow comedian Rory Scovel a.k.a. “the master of audiences.”
Al suggests that Rory use his special talents on the three-member-audience, and that’s when things start to get really awkward. Well, actually it starts with the treasure chest. Better yet, just click play.

No 20 something would share these ads with their friends. They’re not ads, they’re not funny. So the viral potential is dead.
The only way these might work is if you’re at FoD, watch something, walk away from your device, and this is fed to you before you can stop it. Maybe that is the intention.
But that sucks.
