The Internet Loves Tiny Spock And His 1964 Buick Riviera Hot Wheels Car

In lieu of the San Diego Comic Con, Hot Wheels has created this limited production 1964 Buick Riviera Hot Wheels car accompanied by a little Spock figurine. With the movie franchise’s release right around the corner we expect these little knick-knacks to be gobbled up by Trekkies, even with a $20 price tag, which is about 10 times the average price for a Hot Wheels car (we know, we know, this isn’t just any Hot Wheels car).

This set is based off of a popular photo of the late Leonard Nimoy, dressed as Spock, leaning on the hood of his newly purchased 1964 Buick Riviera. Nimoy had purchased the car following the success of the Star Trek television series. The photo was taken in a parking lot behind the studio (shown below).

If you genuinely want this Hot Wheels Riviera along with the mini Spock you’ll have to order from MattyCollector.com, as it is the exclusive seller of this product. It’ll be up for grabs as soon as the convention begins, but rest assured, you do not have to attend the Comic Con in order to be eligible to purchase.
