It seems the 2016 Buick Envision has received its first digital spot as the five-passenger crossover begins trickling into dealerships across the U.S.
To highlight how the 2016 Buick Envision is not another sleepy crossover from the brand, the ad features a young couple’s baby upset in the night. To calm him down, a ride around the block seems to be in order.
However, through a not-so-dull driving experience, the driver and baby remain awake the entire time. Babies love Buicks, it seems.
Overall, the spot does a decent job in highlighting the strengths of the new Envision crossover, all while making it known Buick now offers a CUV in the hot midsize segment. Have a look at the ad yourself right up above.

Good looking vehicle. I saw one in the flesh over a month ago.
I hope it does well for Buick.
I think if the Enclave and Encore are a good example of sales this should do well.
The Bucik Envision shares the same D2XX platform as the 2017 Chevy Volt, sio why doesn’t GM offer an EREV Envision CUV? The only competition in the domestic market is the smaller Ford C-Max.
Maybe that is coming.
They do not even have the full lineup of conventional powertrains yet available (coming for 2017).
I suspect there will be more variations of this model deeper in the product lifecycle.
These things are really nice, I got to see one last weekend. I think it will do good for Buick.
“I’ll take him for a random Buick” is what I hear that actor muttering. I know what he’s actually saying but I’d never let an ad out with those words mumbled that way. And it’s not natural for any Dad to say, “I know I’ll take him for a ride in a brand name!” And worse for the wife to say, “Good idea!” WTF?!?
The copy should have read, “Honey, it’s your turn to make the baby stop crying.” He takes the baby, walks it outside in his arms, sees the car — looks back at his house. And soon they’re driving, having fun, just like the ad shows.
Then when they return wifey asks, “Why’d you take the Buick out?” Dad, “Baby stopped crying?”
He smiles. She smiles. All set.
Even I got wordy. But it was a rushed draft. Wife would say, “Honey it’s your turn.” And that would be the name of the ad. The hook or whatever they call it in advertising.
And absolutely positively NEVER show the result of driving a Buick is sleeping.
[Offtopic] any news on the all-new 2017 LaCrosse? It’s second half of June already, and there are no road tests, no ads, nothing.
Just curious.
the only thing I don’t like is the beltline…..its sloped down it makes the side profile look cheap and awkward.
