For the 16th year running, Opel will host its annual classic car meeting in its own backyard at the Opel Villas of Rüsselsheim. Roughly 3,000 vehicles are expected to be in attendance on June 26, all older than 1986 model years, including bikes, cars and more.
Included during the festivities is the Opel Blitz station wagon parade, presented by Opel CEO Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann. Here, everything from the Opel Kadett A, to Rekord D to the all-new Astra Sports Tourer will participate in a historic lineage of family wagons. 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Patrick Burkhardt will also be in attendance for an interview session by classic car expert, Detlef Krehl.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. sharp with free parking and free transportation to the event provided by Opel. In addition, there is no entrance fee.
