We’ll start by saying that watching this video will likely tempt you to immediately go sprint to your nearest Cadillac dealership and ask for a set of keys to a V-Series model, because you’re craving to experience Cadillac V-Series performance for yourself. Yes, it’s that beckoning.
Before you accuse us of being complete fanboys, we should explain that we are big fans of luxury sedans and coupes — such as the 2016 ATS-V and 2016 CTS-V. Sure, the 2016 CTS-V (a.k.a. the 4-door Z06) and ATS-V are the top dogs, but the CTS V-Sport is also an excellent alternative for those who want a little less hardcore performance in their luxury vehicle.
The brief video in question shows off the performance Cadillac’s current range of V-Series vehicles around a track. The brand’s motorsports efforts are also highlighted, with Cadillac Driver driver Jonny O’Connel making an appearance to state that “Cadillac Racing beat Ferrari, beat Lamborghini, beat Porsche, we killed ’em” — referring to the team’s dominant performance in the 2012-2015 Pirelli World Challenge.
The GM Authority Take
We’d say that the video serves its purpose of reaching out to a younger demographic that might not be responding to Cadillac’s principal Dare Greatly campaign, while also carrying more focus on the vehicles rather than on the Cadillac brand.

Comment
Wasn’t going to comment because did not have much to say but it would be great for this commercial to be viewed outside of Pirelli World Challenge telecasts.
I drove past the local Cadillac dealership this morning, and parking outside of the store was a drop-dead gorgeous CTS-V very striking at a glance. Aaawh, what a dream car to think about owning one day. The car was white with carbon fiber package.
