Mark Your Calendars: July 1 is National Drive Your Corvette To Work Day

America is beginning to get excited for its birthday party on the 4th of July, but there’s something you should all know that is occurring three days prior.

July 1 is National Drive Your Corvette To Work Day, according to Mid America Motorworks. Now, before you think this is a bunch of made up garbage, let us explain.

This day is real, as it is always celebrated the Friday closest to June 30, the day the very first Chevrolet Corvette rolled off the assembly line in 1953. In fact, this is the 16th annual iteration of the event.

And, if you happen to drive your Corvette to work every day, take the time to appreciate a historic moment for your pride and joy.
