In this morning’s first practice session for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series FireKeepers 400, cars cracked 215 MPH thanks to NASCAR’s new low downforce aerodynamics package. If three-wide racing at over 200 mph sounds like something you don’t want to miss, then you’re in the right place.
You’ll be able to catch the FireKeepers 400 on FS1 this weekend, with race coverage beginning Sunday, June 12th ahead of the 1:00 p.m. green flag. If you’re hungry for more action, the Sprint Cup field will take to the track tomorrow morning for Practice 2 at noon, which will also air live on FS1.
Those who really have NASCAR fever may also tune into the NASCAR Xfinity Series race, scheduled to kick off tomorrow at 1:30, with coverage again appearing on FS1. XFinity Series qualifying will also go down tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m. just after the series’ second practice of the weekend at 9:00 a.m.
