Holden Brings On Five Famous Faces To Initiate ‘Carstodians’ Campaign

Holden is at the cusp of launching its latest campaign to redefine what the brand means as an Australian automotive brand. Holden announced the five faces of its upcoming “Carstodians” campaign today, with each expected to be forefront in upcoming branding and more this coming July.

Those chosen include well known celebrities across Australia including, actors Matthew Le Nevez and Claudia Karvan, chef and restaurateur Luke Nguyen, pro-surfer Nikki Van Dijk and fashion entrepreneur Jane Lu.

The chosen five will help Holden along the path to redefine its image and transition to an import-only lineup of vehicles, with 24 new products launching by 2020.

Holden’s Executive Director – Marketing, Geraldine Davys, said “We are thrilled to have Matt, Claudia, Luke Jane and Nikki on board. They capture the very essence of today’s Australia – real, clever and bold Australians making their mark here and on the world stage.”

The brand says the familiar faces will create a more approachable Holden, and tell the stories reaching past the car’s features and benefits in advertising.

“With our ‘Carstodians’ on board we will now tell our retail story in a way that’s sure to stand out from other automotive companies,” Davys added.

The first glimpse of the Carstodians will debut this coming Friday, July 1, and the five will be participating in television and digital campaigns shortly thereafter.
