More than likely, you have a father or father figure to thank for your automotive obsession. We don’t become enthusiasts overnight. Or, maybe some do.
In honor of Father’s Day, we wanted to take a quick moment to thank dads everywhere who have invited sons and daughters into the garage to help wrench on the car, keep the car clean and more.
Thanks for keeping the hobby alive. Not only do we thank you, but Hagerty has a quick video to express gratitude right up above. And, of course, it features a first-generation Chevrolet Camaro.

Of the countless thing I owe to my father, a love of cars is one that defines a large part of me. Fortunately, I was able to spend yesterday working on my ’72 Grand Prix with him, and later that evening giving my 14 year old daughter her first driving lesson (long overdue, I know). I can only hope that I build good memories with her as we build her ’86 Fiero.
I hope the rest of the GMA community had a great Father’s as well.
