While the 2017 GMC Acadia begins its new life as a thinner, smaller midsize crossover, the previous-generation Acadia will die another day.
The GMC Acadia Limited, a 2016 GMC Acadia by another name, will continue on for fleet and rental sale mostly, but for those still interested, the Acadia Limited will arrive with a $44,775 price tag, according to Cars Direct.
That’s nearly $15,000 more than a 2017 GMC Acadia, and falls between the 2017 Acadia SLT and Denali models in regards to pricing. And don’t expect many incentives, though the report does state a $500 incentive is available for current General Motors lessees.
If you’re missing the big-boned Acadia, the upcoming Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave should be the remedy for such an issue, both expected to be introduced next year.

$45? It’s a nice ride, but I’d wait it out – they’ll be available for $37 , with new ones coming in.
One question – after all the talk about cutting back on fleet and rental sales across the board, now GM’s reversed field, and is pushing fleet and rental sales? At $45 grand?
I believe $45 grand is for those who want to buy it.
Fleet sales also include leases which are a kind of combination fleet/retail. The leasing company is a fleet because of the number of vehicles it buys and operates — but often the leases are essentially retail transactions with alternative financing.
