Nine out of ten vehicles gracing the 2016 Kogod Made In America list are GM vehicles. If that isn’t a reassurance of General Motors’ investments into the United States last year, we don’t know what is.
From start to finish, the only vehicle to interrupt GM’s streak is the Ford F-150, which lands at the number four spot. Until then, the Cadillac Escalade and its body on frame siblings fill the ranks, followed by the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu and Impala, and into the 2016 C7 Corvette.
To round out the rankings, the good ol’, Lambda-based crossovers fill the final spots, with the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave taking the number two and one spots. 90-percent of the 2016 Buick Enclave’s parts and components are sourced from the U.S., as is its place of assembly.
