General Motors has filed an application to register ZH2 as a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), GM Authority has discovered.
The automaker’s June 2nd, 2016 application is assigned serial number 87057503 and specifies that the mark will be used to name “automobiles and structural parts thereof”.
The GM Authority Take
We’d venture a guess that the ZH2 name will end up gracing a variant of a special Chevrolet model in concept or production form, much like ZR1 is used for a high-performance variant of the Chevrolet Corvette (Corvette ZR1) and ZR2 being a rumored offroad variant of the Chevrolet Colorado (Colorado ZR2), Silverado (Silverado ZR2), or both.
So, what vehicle do you think the ZH2 name will end up being used on? Talk to us in the comments just below.

Silverado?
Hybrid Colorado ZR2?
Zh2 = jeep competitor,
a hybrid truck with zr2 package
2 door Tahoe with offroad package..
The return of the H2 Hummer as a GMC? LOL!
No I am not serious.
It might be a CAMARO Z, Hertz Rental Car.
Zn = Zinc
H2 = Hydrogen
So it is plain that GM is going to build a vehicle that has a Zinc battery, powering a Hydrogen engine
It has to be for the Hydrogen power system that GM has been working on for years
The hydrogen one should plausible for a Hydrogen powered show truck?
Or how about a Colorado ZQ8 replacement,
Holden Camaro?
