General Motors is once again shuffling its executive deck. The automaker announced Tony Francavilla as its new Vice President of Global Quality.
Francavilla is now responsible for global quality efforts, a cornerstone to GM’s approach of bringing the highest quality vehicles to every market it does business in. Prior to his latest appointment, Francavilla served in a variety of quality roles including executive director of global supplier quality.
“We intend to earn customers for life by delivering exceptional quality,” Mary Barra, GM CEO and chairwoman, said. “Tony’s diverse technical expertise and global leadership experience position him well to further accelerate GM’s progress in every aspect of vehicle quality.”
Francavilla’s position is effective immediately, overseen by CEO, Mary Barra.
