The Germans know how to build some fast machines, and know how to make a V8 sounds delightful. But, there’s a touch of anarchy to an American V8. The 6.2-liter LT4 V8 and 7.0-liter LS7 V8 are only two examples.
But, they’re also powering these two noteworthy vehicles, which showed up to spoil the Germans’ party.
The C7 Corvette Z06 seen here has been tuned by Geiger, and received more than a few aftermarket touches to increase aerodynamics. After Geiger’s touches, the C7 Z06 reportedly produces a stout 740 hp. It arrived at the SCC500 Rolling 50 1000 in Lahr, Germany, to show some contenders how roll racing is really done.
But a C6 Corvette Z06 was also on hand to have some fun, too, along with a 996 hp (!!) Ford GT.
Check it out in the video above.
